Living Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ

1. The Core Challenge: Total Lordship

  • Kingdom Living Today: Kingdom living isn't just a future hope for heaven—it shapes present, daily reality.
  • Full Surrender: Examine what changes when every area of life—thoughts, speech, decisions, and online interactions—is placed under the authority of Jesus Christ.

2. Kingdom Vision: "Spiritual Cataract Surgery" (John 3:3)

  • New Sight: Being born again grants spiritual vision to recognize where God is actively working in everyday moments.
  • Clearing the Fog: Just as cataract surgery restores physical sight, spiritual rebirth clears spiritual cloudiness to reveal Kingdom opportunities amid routine interruptions.

3. The Five Pillars of Kingdom Living

  • Salvation: Received solely by grace through faith in Christ.
  • Consecration: Setting priorities apart for eternal investment—valuing people over temporary earthly wealth.
  • Application: Actively practicing Scripture, recognizing that growth is an ongoing construction process.
  • Purification: Allowing the Holy Spirit to cleanse inner motives, thoughts, and attitudes.
  • Celebration: Rejoicing in transformed lives today and the ultimate joy of eternity.

4. Building on the Rock (Matthew 7:24–27)

  • Action Over Hearing: True stability during life’s storms comes from putting Christ’s words into practice, not merely hearing them.
  • Daily Peace: Applying God's truth introduces Kingdom peace and purpose directly into everyday stress and anxiety.

5. Closing Call & Next Steps

  • Authentic Faith: Religious titles or positions cannot replace genuine, personal surrender to Christ.
  • Going Out: Yield every area of life to Jesus and step out to engage in intentional gospel conversations throughout the community.
