Unashamed and Equipped: At Government Street Baptist Church, we believe we are the body of Christ, made for more than just Sunday services; we are called to be equipped as ambassadors for Jesus, carrying His light into the world everywhere we go. We stand unashamed of the gospel, confident that His Spirit empowers us to be the light of the world and a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.

• Standing on Solid Ground (Romans 5:12-21): In our current study of the book of Romans, we explored the profound contrast between the rebellion of Adam and the overflowing grace of Jesus Christ. While sin and the curse of death entered the world through one man's disobedience, the one righteous act of Jesus brings justification and eternal life to all who receive His gift.

• Grace That Abounds: We are encouraged by the promise that where sin increased, grace increased all the more. No matter the weight of condemnation or accusation the enemy tries to bring, God is constantly pouring out His matchless, infinite grace to overpower sin and restore us to His presence.

• The Throne of Your Life: True transformation is a matter of the heart, requiring each of us to decide daily who sits on the throne of our lives. By surrendering to Him, we move from being "sinners" to being blood-bought children of God, elevated to royalty as princes and princesses of the King of Kings.
