Jesus Christ Ended the Law
- Jesus is everything we need.
- He is the object that the law pointed to, and He fulfilled and completed the law perfectly.
- He destroyed the penalty and condemnation of the law against man.
- This ending of the law for righteousness applies only to those who believe.
The Two Ways to Become Righteous
- A person can become righteous either by keeping the law perfectly, or
- By trusting in the righteousness of Jesus, the sinless Ideal Man who represents us before God.
Three Simple Things to Do
- First, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
- Second, believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.
- Third, believe that Jesus died for man and perfectly satisfied God’s demand for justice.
